1. Independent venue

GarfieldHts.net is an independent website, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of Garfield Heights or Cuyahoga County. For City services use garfieldhts.org. We are a venue: we are not a party to any deal between people who meet through the garage-sale board or the Local Pros directory, and we do not guarantee any item, service, price or outcome.

2. Local Pros

Pros are independent businesses, not our employees or agents. Credentials such as "insured" or "licensed" are self-reported by the pro and are not verified by us. Check credentials, get written quotes, and agree terms directly with the pro.

3. Age

You must be 18 or older to post a listing or make a purchase.

4. Prohibited content and items

No weapons or ammunition; drugs, alcohol, tobacco or vaping products; prescription medicines; adult content; live animals; recalled baby products; resale or dealer merchandise at garage sales; multi-level marketing, cryptocurrency or loan offers; hateful or harassing content; or anything suggesting a listing is official or City-sponsored. Listings are checked automatically and may be hidden after neighbor reports. Repeated violations pause posting privileges.

5. Property data

Property information comes from public Cuyahoga County and FEMA records, may contain errors, and is not an appraisal and not legal advice. Ordinance summaries are from the codification current through August 20, 2020 — verify current rules with the City.

6. No FCRA use

Our reports are not consumer reports. You may not use them to decide eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing/tenant screening or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

7. Payments and refunds

Payments are one-time charges through PayPal. See the refund policy.

8. Liability

The site is provided "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Disputes will be heard in the courts of Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
